Frequently Asked Questions
Will pressure washing damage my wood deck?
High pressure will, which is why we do not use it on wood. We use a wood-safe cleaner and a low-pressure rinse to lift dirt and mildew without raising the grain or leaving wand marks, then a brightener to restore the color.
How much does deck or patio cleaning cost?
Most decks and patios in Macomb County fall between $250 and $600 depending on size, material, and condition. Fences are priced by linear footage. Staining or sealing is quoted separately.
Can you clean composite decking like Trex?
Yes. Composite holds mildew in its texture and needs a cleaner designed for it plus gentle pressure. Cleaned correctly it looks new again; cleaned wrong it can scar, so we never blast it.
How long should I wait to stain after cleaning?
Usually two to three dry days so the wood's moisture drops enough for the stain to penetrate. We can schedule the clean and the stain as one project.
Do you clean fences too?
Yes — wood, vinyl, and metal fences are all part of this service. Vinyl fencing in particular benefits from a soft wash that removes the green algae film without scrubbing.
