When to Schedule
Late spring through early fall, with a dry stretch of two to three days if you are sealing. Sealing needs the pavers completely dry and temperatures above 50°F, so a warm, rain-free week is ideal. Cleaning before a summer party or a home listing makes an immediate difference.

Will pressure washing blow the sand out of my paver joints?
Careless washing will. We clean at a controlled pressure and angle to protect the joints, and resanding with polymeric sand is available to refill any that were already thin.
How much does paver cleaning cost?
Cleaning typically runs about $1.00–$2.00 per square foot in our area; adding resanding and sealing brings most projects to roughly $2.50–$4.00 per square foot. We measure and quote each job.
Should I seal my pavers?
Sealing is optional, but in Michigan it is worth it — it slows weed growth, resists oil and rust stains, and protects against freeze-thaw shifting. It should only be applied after a thorough clean.
How long does the sealer last?
Typically three to five years, depending on sun, traffic, and how often the surface sees salt. A quick clean and reseal keeps pavers looking new indefinitely.
Can you get rid of the weeds and moss for good?
We kill the growth at the root during cleaning, and polymeric sand plus sealer makes it much harder for new weeds to take hold. Without sealing, some regrowth over a few seasons is normal.
